Hello Battle Mage
It's another wonderful week with monsters readily stocked in their deck waiting to embark on battles. Again, the community has made a selection for the monsters of this week and those who happened to be in the spotlight are a whole element "Dragon". I will do my best to explain the little I know about the dragon monsters but before then, here is the published post for guidelines for fellows interested in being a part of the battle share challenge. If you're not a player of splinterlands yet, kindly visit the official site @ splinterlands.com to get your account today. I believe plenty of goodies await your registration. Okay, let's go there.
Dragons are collections of powerful monsters with different abilities packed into one element known as the dragon element. Symbolically, the dragon monsters are identified by this

QUIX-THE-DEVIOUS
DJINN-CHWALA
RED-DRAGON
GOLD-DRAGON
In so many cases, DJINN CHWALA is always a perfect selection for defense. Although, this is not generic, but my personal opinion. I believe that the high armor protection, high health, and thorn ability possessed by Djinn Chwala is a perfect attribute for defense monsters. In this battle, Chwala can be found to have five armor, nine health, two melee damage, and two battling speed.
Next is a hybrid attack dragon monster "RED DRAGON". This monster is both magic and melee attack monster. It has in this battle, one magic attack, four melee damage, two battling speed, and nine health. Also, as advantageous to this monster is the flying ability that it possesses. Red Dragons in the advanced level have other abilities but only the ones applicable to this battle are discussed and this applies to every other monster used in this battle.
GOLD DRAGON couldn't wait to make the team as its kind was mostly found in it. Also very healthy with eight health, this monster battled with two magic damage and three battling speed. GOLD DRAGON is also a flying monster.
BLACK-DRAGON
OSHUUR-CONSTANTIA
LIGHTNING-DRAGON
On the fourth position came the Black Dragon. A monster with dual ability, which is flying and life leech. One special thing about this monster is that its health might seem to be low but if rightly protected, using the life leech ability, it again lives each time it attacks. This life again goes in proportion to the damage. For this battle, it battled with two magic damage and two battling speed.
In the fifth position is OSHUUR CONSTANTIA. First, I have to say welcome to this monster because this is the very first time I have used it for battle. To be sincere, this card is simply powerful and possesses the right ability. I never thought the dragon deck has a resurrecting monster until today. As a magic monster, OSHUUR CONSTANTIA in this battle has two magic damage and two battling speed.
The only ranged attack monster in the battle came in the last position. Lighting Dragon as it is called has three ranged damage and a very high battling speed reading six in number. It also has six health and has the flying ability. In a battle involving all these monsters, there is no perfect position for a ranged monster other than the back roll
Did the Strategy work? The strategy was dominated by magic monsters. In a more perfect battle, using a magic enhancer summoner would have been ideal but the monsters selected did deliver irrespective of being disadvantaged. It was a huge success for the team and a well-planned strategy for the manager.
My opinion on Dragons
This section requires me to be direct. Dragons are great monsters. The deck contains many dangerous cards. I, however, do think that they are quite expensive to purchase. I might be wrong though
That will be all for this week.
Again, I'm hitting the pause button here for this week. I'd hope to see you next week when I hit the resume button
