Warm greetings from me to you. It's been a busy week and a lot of games played especially when you have to wait until a particular ruleset is given. I must confess, it took me over 50 games played before I was fortunate to meet the explosive weaponry ruleset which is the chosen ruleset for this week's battle mage secrets. As we can see, it was a delay, not a denial. Explosive Weaponry (EW)
As the name implies, the explosive weaponry ruleset gives the blast ability to every monster on the battlefield irrespective of their attack type. What's up with this ruleset? When battling with this ruleset, adjacent monsters from the target get to share the damage but in a reduced number. For better understanding, In a scenario where a monster is hit with three damages, the monsters close to it will likely incur two damages from a blast but there are exemptions. These exemptions are most likely the secret of winning a battle under the explosive weaponry ruleset. Now, let's look at those exemptions in the form of strategies for EW ruleset
Possible Strategies for EW Ruleset
Engaging in any battle under the EW ruleset requires some special abilities. Some of these abilities include; reflection shield, void, void armor, magic reflect, shield, and others. Monsters with reflection shield ability are immune blast, magic reflect, thorn, and return fire. When they are placed in a battle, they do allow the penetration of blast however guiding their frontline or backline depending on where the attack is launched.
Playing with the shield ability is also a recommended strategy because monsters with the shield ability take reduced blast damage from melee and ranged but are weak to magic damage. In addition to the winning strategy, deploying monsters with protect abilities and summoner with void armor stat added with monsters with repair ability can perform the magic of winning.
In terms of facing magic monsters, void ability in combination with a magic reflex will pose a great threat to the opponent monsters. However, having these abilities are great but one other thing that matters is the positioning of the monsters. It's no surprise that proper positioning can give winning to low-level monsters against their higher counterpart

Stat: +2 Health✔️✔️Last Stand✔️✔️ Cleanse✔️✔️
Due to the low mana cap, choosing a team required extra carefulness. Trying to put up effective low mana monsters that can withstand a blast is difficult, however, the reason why this legendary monster was used. This summoner was able to provide three stats to the monster enough to win the match. The last stand and cleanse stat provided the winning possibility.
FURIOUS CHICKEN
The question of whether placing the furious chicken in the front row was necessary could arise in the mind of many but to ease their mind of such thought, avoiding that first hit on the main monster sometimes is very important especially when you are relying on one monster to do the job. The furious chicken was able to take the first hit from the opponent's opportunity monster with four melee damage which gave the main monster the chance to do big damage before the next turn of the opportunity monster
FLESH GOLEM
The big muscular Flesh Golem was the stand-alone monster to face six fire monsters. The healing ability of this monster, the last stand, and cleanse from the summoner ensured that Golem regains its damaged health which was too much for the opponent monsters to handle. Lastly, the blast ruleset made the elimination of the enemy's monsters faster.
