We were taught the need for us to make friends with people whose intention is heaven and not with people whose their focus is about wealth or earthly things we must remove ourselves from people who do not know the word of God or want to come to the knowledge of the great and marvelous works of God as seen according to the book of LUKE 16:9 let us not dwell much in wealth of the world because their end there off 8s always destruction but let us lean upon that friend that can make us to keep dwelling in the presence of God always.
We must not depend on the things of the world because all these fades money Beauty and the worldly affection all of the can fade away but that which is God kingdoms is till eternity that is why the word of God said that we are to prepare a place of honor for ourselves where moth or people will not take it away from us but we are to plan ahead on how we can success in making heaven our target as seen according to the book of MATTHEW 6:19 let us not be easily deceived with the gift of the world because all of them fades all theirs intention is to remove that which is in our heart which is the right path that our heavenly father has established for us as seen according to the book of PROVERB 19:6.
God almighty expect that we are to entrust all our First love to him and not to any earth things be it money wife husband or children God demands our Frist love and we ought to return it back to him because he is our creator and he has created us in his own image and likeness we are to show our full devotion to him doing his will and all that which he has commanded us to do thereby pleasing him as seen according to the book of MATTEW 22:37 we must not love anyone more than our father in heaven because anything we love more than our father in heaven has become a god to us and God do not want any other gods besides him because our father in heaven is a jealous God as seen in the book of MATTHEW 10:27.
2 TIMOTHY 6:10 the word of God made us to understand that we must not carry all our heart in chasing the things of the world because all of them begets evil we must cleave to that which is right and depart from the presence of evil things and sorrowful ends but in all we do let us always stand at the right side of God doing that which we know is good helping the needy as many as we can and attending to the works of our father in heaven who has sent us as we have seen according to the book of 1 TIMOTHY 6:10.
When we are making friends we must make friends that are of the rightful path of Christ doing the will of Christ following friends who knows the need it takes to be an ambassador and partaker of the works of Christ we must not deal with people who do not value or know the worth of what it takes to be a true real Christian as seen according to the book of PROVERB 18:24 we must depart from all appearance of evil doing like fornication malice bearing grudges against one another hatred or jealousy we must stay away from all these because they are the works of flesh as seen according to the book of JAMES 4:4 we must know that we cannot serve two Master at a time we must devote affection and likeness for one and hate the other therefore we must applied to same to the things of God we can't be serving God and at the same time be putting our hands where God do not want us to put our hand as seen according to the book of MATTHEW 6:24.
MORAL LESSON I LEARNT
•We must devote our time in the things of God and serving him with all our heart
•We must not put hand in things which displease God or where he do not want us to go
•In all we do lets us keep abiding to God's doctrine and teaching knowing that God teaching is the only way we can be set from the works of evil people and the devil
• We must not be conscious of things of the earth rather let our focus be of things in the heaven
• In all we do, let us not be easily deceived by our friends whose ambition and concern is about the wealth of the earth.
CONCLUSION
Today's teaching encourages us the need for us to be fully committed in doing the works of God having full devotion in serving God and not having double mind or having another god besides our almighty heavenly father we must ensure that we out all our trust in God and that we are not easily deceived by the things of the world be it money beauty or woman we must have a focus which is making heaven at last.
