Husband and wife should know that they have been joined together through God love therefore thy ought to respect each other and care for one another that is a doctrine which God has set for us according to his word as seen according to the book of MATTHEW 19:6 thy ought to have mutual understanding that exist between them.
We were also taught the need for us to fast because it makes our prayer to be answerable unto God very fast because when we are into fasting our inner heart and being is sincere and free from all manner of evil things or doing and our heart is fully dedicated to God almighty which makes God to fully surprise us with that which troubles our heart as seen according to the book of ISAIAH 58:6-8 and we should understand that when we are fasting that they are a lot of things which we must let go off we must forgive whoever that might have hurt us because if we bear grudges in our heart God will found it hard to give a listening ear to our prayers and supplication as seen in the book of MATTHEW 6:16-18 instead when we fast we arere loose from the bondage of sin which the devil has already place is. When we fast we must be able to free people who might have been owning us because God himself has forgiven us all the debt which he has paid for us on the cross of calvary as seen in the book of MATTHEW 6:12.
We must be found as people who are totally humble In spirit and in mind even as Christ Jesus was obedient till his death. It is a good example which we must ensure that we follow as seen according to the book of HEBREW 3:4. We must make sure that we obediently follow God's way even as we are found fasting we should not be like the hypocrites who brag or fast just for them to show off but when we fast let us be fully devoted having full concentration tht it is Christ Jesus that we are seeking his face not that of man as we have seen according to the book of MATTHEW 6:16.
We must not be seen as people who are found committing sin with their eyes we must ensure that we depart from all manners of fornication adultery or things which can hinder God from answering our prayers as seen in the book of 1 PETER 3:7 we must not seen as men who follows women along just to uncover their nakedness we must be able to present Good behavior which will go further in portraying as Christians we are we as seen in the book of LEVITICUS 18:19 we must ensure that we remove ourselves from things which do not glorify God or that which will bring shame unto the church of God we must fully represent Christ Jesus here on earth by taking up the full responsibility which we are to do exhorting one another in his word and proclaiming his word all over the world as seen according to the book of 1 TIMOTHY 5:8.
In CONCLUSION today's teaching according to Brother Eli Soriano was on the need for us to be seen as people who will obediently serve God in truth and in full dedication we must be seen as committed christians in the household of faith and that when we fast we must be seen as people who are pure in heart soul and mind so that our prayers unto our father in heaven won't be hindered.
