Blessed with God's word today by Bro Eli Soriano teaching, today's God's doctrine was about grave sins that won't be forgiven if we commit them intentionally. We were taught today that if any of our fellow brethren commit sin which is not unto death that what we are expected as true Christian to gather and pray together with such person and our effective prayer of ours shall set such person free from such sin because God always delight joy in the prayer of a righteous Christian according to 1 JOHN 5:16 but nevertheless if God found out that we are upstainth to our sins or that we have returned back to a particular sin which we have been forgiven after we have gotten the true knowledge of the truth God word said he will reject such person so God's doctrine demands us to move away from such kind of people be it in the house of God so that we might not be deceived or our faith been brought down this was according to TITUS 3:10 therefore let us not derive joy in committing sin which are unto death ROMANS 11:32.
We were taught sins one can commit against the holy spirit
•Blaspheming against the holy spirit ACT 15:28, it is a grievous sin whenever we speak against the holy spirit we are to keep our mouth shut and our words must be few so that we might not end up sining against the holy spirit according to God's doctrine.
•We must abstain from meat that is been offered to the idols ACT 15:28 we were taught that idols are false God's they are never true God according to PSALM 115:5-8 they are barely made by man they are man-made work when foods are offered to idols they are not holy again same way should we reject it because the holy spirit rejects such food. It is abominable unto God's sight for us to bow and worship an idol 1 PETER 4:3,1 CORINTHIANS 8:7 God forbids such act because such images has leg but can't walk they have eyes but also they can't see likewise ear but can't hear when their worshippers call upon them so why them shall we then worship such image which is made by a mere man we should avoid such foods offered to idols as true Christian we are, we are bound not to take such foods because such kind of food ends up defiling our body and remember our body is God's temple we should never worship them not even God's Angels are we allowed to worship REVELATION 22:8 but in all we are to worship one true GOD which is mighty in everything he does According to ACT 1:13 and GALATIANS 4:18.
•We are to abstain from strangled meat According to God's doctrine ACT 15:28 we are to only eat what the holy bible command us to eat we are to abstain from blood meat because God uses blood to redeem us from our sins because many God's in these earth are not true God but God alone is the only true God and God's people do not eat anything that is defile according to ACT 10:14 and EZEKIEL 4:18 because such will end up defiling our mind heart and conscious.
•We are to flee from fornication 1 CORINTHIANS 6:18 true Christians who are called unto God's name are to depart from fornication God not not delight in such person prayer or anything that concerns the person because such person is already defiled.
LESSON I LEARNT
•God demands that we pray together with our fellow brethren who has sin unto God so far as the sin is not up to death that with our prayer such person is set free
•We must flee from fornication because God do not delight pressure in such kind of person
•We must never blasphemy against the holy spirit because such sin is not pardonable by God
•We were instructed by God doctrine not to take a strangled meat because we are God's people and should not defile our body with such kind of meat
•I learnt that we should not eat or take anything that has been offered to any idols because they are truly false God.
CONCLUSION
Today's topic centered about the need for us to flee from the sinful part, depart from fornication and food being offered to idols knowing that our body is God's temple and should not be defiled. We are to flee from blood meat because God's doctrine speaks against such meat. Neither should we worship any other God apart from God almighty.
