According to God's word in the book of 1 TIMOTHY 3:15 God has instructed us with his
word the need for us to behave ourselves in the church of God they are ways in which we are expected to guide ourselves let our attitudes and characters speaks for us in the house of God we should learn now to behave ourselves in the church of God knowing that they are a lot of people who looks unto us we must be guided on the ways we talk to our fellow brethren in the church of God we must not seen as people who gossip about one another we must not also be seen as people who has hatred for one another or who backbite their fellow brethren at the back rather we are to fully represent Christ Jesus in all rightful path which we can.
We were taught today that baptism is a commandment and doctrine of God which Every true believer ought to pass through before he or she will be recognised as a true believer we must be baptized so that our sins and transgression can be washed away. Baptism is a commandments which we must not run away from because when we are baptized we are recognised as new being in Christ Jesus our old garment and old way of life is been forgiven by christ Jesus because it is been washed away by the blood of our savior which is Christ Jesus let see the book of MATTHEW 28:19 we must do the works of our father in heaven which is for us to go into the world teach people the true word of God exhort and admolish them get them baptized in the name of our father not in any other name here we Christans ought to be careful because they are a lot of false doctrines and teaching we must understand that God only wants us to be baptized not in any other name rather in the name of our father we should never be baptized in the name of our pastor or by the name of our teacher or priest it must only be in the name of our father so that our sins can be washed away and we now becomes a new being as seen in the book of EPHESIANS 3:14-15.
We must choose to follow the footsteps of God in all in do we must take in trust in all we do never Should God be kept aside in anything that concerns us we must ensure that we involved him in our life see the book of DEUTERONOMY 12:5 knowing that we are one body in Christ Jesus we are been baptized in one spirit one body and in one faith that is why there ought to be togetherness and love among ourselves in the house of God because our creator which is God has bounded us together in one faith and believe so we ought not to step out from that love which God has given to us and showed to us as seen in the book of. 1 CORINTHIANS 12:13 we must be totally humble and submissive to God's word and instructions coming to the knowledge that he is the head of the church of God he is our creator and he owns all the power over us we should know that God has the charge over our body heart and mind therefore we must be holy so that God can find a place to stay in our heart as seen in the book of COLOSSIANS 1:18.
Another DOCTRINE of God which we ought to obey and adhere to is that we must not take the name of our creator which is God in vain let see the book of Exodus 20:7 God hates when his name is used in vain many Christans today use the name of God in making jest of or in unnecessary argument and bragging we must keep away from such set of people because their end thereof is destruction we must be with people whose mission is to be glorifying the name of God because he has been ever faithful to his people therefore let's us not misuse the nane of God we are to protect God's name and call upon God when we are in distress having hope and faith believing that he will surely comes to our aid let see the book of PSALM 139:20 we are to ensure that we do not take the name of God in vain in all we do we should not proclaim a false teaching with God's name we must all depart from such act because such act do not pleases God we are to hold on our confidence in God in all we do rejoicing in God's name knowing that he will surely see us through let us see the book of HEBREW 3:6 we must allow God to rule over us because we are his children let see the book of HEBREW 10:21.
IN CONCLUSION 1 CORINTHIANS 3:16 let's us come to realize that our body is the temple of God and that it must be kept holy it ought to be holy in the sense that we must not go where the holy Spirit will find it difficult to come with us we are remove ourselves from people who detest the word of God who makes silly jokes about God word and who are not ready to be the doers of God we are to also detach ourselves from people who go about teaching false doctrines and teaching because when we associate with such people our body is made unholy for the angel and the holy spirit to dwell in us we must always take up the rightful path so that we will not miss heaven which is our target.
