Psalms 3:6-7 NKJV
According to Genesis 3:10, Mankind began to fear when Adam and Eve sinned against God in the garden of Eden.
But, God has told us in His Word not to fear, because we have no reason to and should put our trust in Him.
You will always live in fear unless you face whatever it is you are afraid of and deal with it with The Word Of God. Only then will you overcome such fear.
You can deal with fear by declaring the Word of God in faith and calling the name of Jesus in every situation.
I remember as a child, I use to be afraid, cry and cling to my mom whenever she turned off the lights.
I couldn't stay alone in darkness, because I thought there was something hiding in the darkness to harm me.
But, now as a Believer and an adult, I know I have nothing to fear.
Friends, if you are also afraid of darkness, say these words to yourself, “In the name of Jesus I am not afraid of darkness, nothing can harm me because I am divinely protected.”
Continue to declare it to yourself and the fear will disappear.
Then believe in your heart and praise God for honouring His Word in your life. And always know you are an overcome in Christ Jesus.
