What is Trust?.
Trust is simply the belief that someone or something is reliable, dependable, good, honest, effective...
The Psalmist David, after discovering how Faithful God is, put all his trust in Him.
Remember that this David was a young man who killed Goliath of Gath.
He was a warrior but, he never put his confidence or trust in his own ability, exploits, wisdom or strength.
He always consulted God first before embarking on every mission.
If you put confidence or trust in yourself or your abilities, you will surely fail. Never you put your trust in any person or thing because, they all have limitations.
Just like David, discover God for yourself and see that His Faithfulness is ever sure.
Develop a very good relationship with God through obedience, studying the Holy Scriptures, through prayer, and fellowship.
Put all your trust in God and He will always come to your rescue in times of trouble and need.
Do not trust in riches too, because they will surely fade away. Trusting in riches, beauty, possessions or even man is vain.
Man will surely disappoint, only God won't disappoint us.
Total trust or dependence on man, who is limited, will surely lead to disappointment, heartbreak and frustration.
Am I saying you shouldn't trust your fellow man?.
No. I am saying you should not depend on human 100%. Thereby indirectly idolising such fellow, who is limited.
Only God is unlimited.
Save yourself disappointment and put your trust solely on our Heavenly Father, for He is Faithful!.
God is not a disappointment!.
Trust God more!.
