Sometimes You Need CHARACTER, Not just Prayer.
No matter how much we pray, attitude has its place.
This the strong truth a lot of we Christians fail to understand.
Yes, prayer is good, but prayer alone isn't going to work if you have a bad and unruly character .
In the scriptures, the Bible says
that before we pray, He will answer.
Why?. Because we have exhibited characters that will attract miracles.
Sometimes, we pray for miracles to happen, what we need is character, not just prayer, not just speaking in tongues.
God is a Spirit, and for Him to bless you, he needs to pass through a human.
If you lack good relationships with people you'll hardly be blessed.
God works with relationships.
You must learn to treat people with courtesy and unlearn unruliness.
The Shunammite woman in the Bible must have been praying for a child all her life.
She was a prominent woman and she had a lot of money but she could not buy a child.
Here are virtues she exhibited that made her have a child
1.She took care of Elisha(who was a man of God)
2.She respected him
3.she was hospitable
4.She was very kind
5.She had good character
Elisha, spoke into her womb and in a year, she had a child.
If she wasn't hospitable, polite and very kind, she would have still been praying and fasting and binding and casting demons that do not even exist.
Sometimes, we are our own demons. Our own characters are our destiny killers.
Some of us have insulted people that were divinely sent and orchestrated to help us.
Some of us are keeping malice with our destiny helpers.
Some of us are suffering, not because we kack talent but, because we lack character.
Talent is very attractive.
Anyone can be well talented, but good character is a
proof of discipline and a proof of responsibility.
Character sustains the attraction talent gives us.
Character is virtue, and sometimes, FAVOUR is triggered by virtue.
Mary, the mother of Jesus was a Virgin.
She also had virtue!
Which attracted the favour of being the mother of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
Hear this, In all thy getting, get character.
Respect people.
Treat strangers with courtesy and respect.
Be kind.
Your Angel may not always come like an Angel.
Do not look down on people, anyone can change your life for good.
Remember it was the maid of Naaman, that told him where
to get his healing. Naaman was a great man but he had leprosy. He must have travelled far and wide and visited the best hospitals in the world as of that time.
Who would have ever thought that the solution to his
problem was in the mouth of his own maid?.
Sometimes the solutions to our problems are embedded in the mouths of mere people, but the bugger problem is, many of us are not humble enough to see it.
Prayer is good, but it is friutless without good relationships.
Build good relationships and God will use men to bless you.
Respect people.
Get character!.
