The Menpo Project was developed with the goal of implementing active template models for facial recognition software. Menpo has several different templates and fitting algorithms that are optimal for better Feature detection and it is highly portable to other forms of the template modeling.
If you have any experience with Python or NumPy, it is fairly easy to pick up for your own projects. These Machine Learning projects are often simple, efficient, and underappreciated in the growing world of Deep Learning. Feel free to check them out!
