Hi @kiilders,
Thank you very much for your contribution to the LIL.
In order for your photos to be used in the collages of upcoming LMAC rounds, it is very important that they have a certain quality and resolution.
Therefore, I would like to ask you to provide a little less blurred photos in your future contributions.
A few tips if you are using a mobile phone camera:
- First, make sure the camera lens is clean and free of scratches. We often carry our phones in our pockets. Dust and other particles can thus stick to the lens.
- The less light there is in the scene you want to shoot, the steadier you should hold the camera. Especially in low light conditions, it takes longer for the camera app to trigger.
- Try to disable the autofocus functions. Autofocus can ruin even photos of the most beautiful scenes.
- Choose an output format with lower compression. PNG is very suitable for good quality photos. But when you decide to use JPG, make sure that the compression is not less than 95%. Choose a resolution that is at least 1280x768 or higher. In example 3840x2160.
- You could use the free software OpenCamera. It is a very good camera software that you can use to check whether the app you used for your photos might have some bugs. But usually it is also the best alternative to pre-installed camera apps.
- In some camera apps you can set the exposure time as you like. For long exposure times, you should hold the camera in a very steady position.
Best regards
