Eine Begegnung der dritten Art, und die Erkenntnis, dass auch Außerirdische ganz normale Leute sein könnten, sind dir in diesem Post sicher. Und ich werfe darin die Frage auf, ob Kinder nicht die besseren Botschafter für Erstkontakt-Situationen wären.
Imagine you're out for an evening stroll and suddenly a UFO lands in front of you. An alien comes out and asks you the way to the nearest gas station equipped with a hydrogen pump.
Most adults, in such a situation, would probably give spurs and just leave a cloud of dust behind them before the alien visitor had a chance to make his request.
I'm not sure how my almost 50-year-old mind would deal with this. After all, I have become more cautious and thoughtful over the years than I once was.
How would a child react?
After all, a child's view of the world is not yet solidified - what is normal in this world is something they are still learning. It is in a constantly changing process and every experience contributes to this.
The younger they are, the greater their curiosity and fascination with new experiences.
I therefore believe that children would generally approach an encounter with an extraterrestrial with a way more open mind than adults. A child would probably even pester the alien with so many questions that he wouldn't reach the hydrogen filling station before closing time.
Recently I was thinking about this when I was reading an article about SETI. The idea for this picture was born in then.
Stell dir mal vor, du wärst gerade einen Abendspaziergang machen und plötzlich landet ein UFO vor dir. Ein Außerirdischer steigt aus und fragt dich nach dem Weg zur nächsten Tankstelle mit Wasserstoff-Zapfsäule.
Wahrscheinlich, würden die meisten Erwachsenen, in solch einer Situation die Beine in die Hand nehmen und nur eine Staubwolke hinterlassen, noch bevor der außerirdische Besucher sein Begehr vorgetragen hätte.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, wie mein fast 50 Jähriger Geist damit umgehen würde. Bin ich doch über die Jahre vorsichtiger und bedachter geworden, als ich es einst war.
Wie würde wohl ein Kind reagieren?
Das Weltbild eines Kindes, ist immerhin noch nicht gefestigt - was normal in dieser Welt ist, wird gerade erst gelernt. Es befindet sich in einem ständig wandelnden Prozess und jede Erfahrung trägt seinen Teil dazu bei.
Umso Jünger, desto größer ist noch die Neugierde und die Faszination über neue Erfahrungen.
Daher glaube ich, dass Kinder die Begegnung mit einem Außerirdischen generell etwas offener angehen würden, als Erwachsene. Wahrscheinlich täte ein Kind den Außerirdischen sogar derart mit Fragen löchern, dass er die Wasserstoff-Tankstelle nicht vor Ladenschluss erreichen würde.
Darüber habe ich mir neulich Gedanken gemacht, als ich einen Artikel über das SETI Thema las. Währenddessen entstand die Idee für dieses Bild.
I modeled and arranged the scene on a photo from Pixabay in Blender 3D and then finished it in GIMP. In GIMP I have optimized the shadows, made the UFO lamps, the light effects and then applied a cinematographic LUT.
For the complete work on the picture, I used the open-source computer programs Blender 3D and GIMP.
Die Szene habe ich auf einem Foto von Pixabay in Blender 3D modelliert, arrangiert und anschließend in GIMP fertig gestellt. In GIMP habe ich die Schatten verbessert, die UFO-Lampen, die Lichteffekte gemacht und danach ein kinematografisches LUT darauf angewendet.
Ich habe für die komplette Arbeit am Bild, die quelloffenen Computer-Programme Blender 3D und GIMP verwendet.
