Experience with HTML

About a decade or so ago, I had accounts with Asian Avenue, Xanga, and Myspace. All of those sites required some knowledge of HTML codes to create a website. I mean you could get away without using HTML codes but your site would look PLAIN and DULL.

As an early millennial, I caught on quick. I got a composition book and filled it with HTML codes, tips, and tricks. My site was pretty cool so I ended up making sites for a few friends. It was the thing to do at the time.

Over the years, I lost majority of my HTML skills. I got a few codes in my brain but it is VERY minimal.

As I began typing my Introduce Yourself post, I realized the codes weren't working. WTF?! I searched steemit to find answers and found Markdown.

What is "Markdown"?

Markdown is a formatting system that allows you to make posts quickly using symbols as shortcuts for formatting without the hassle of using html. thecryptofiend@thecryptofiend

COOL!! Markdown is way easier than HTML!!

Now that I am updated on markdown, I'll be practicing it throughout my posts with the help from these sites:
