I once used 3speak to upload a video. This video was offered for download and I asked the 3speak guys their policy for uploading this video, while it didn't had a clear statement it had (or not) copyrights. 3speak statement to me was, that they were ok with my uploading, since they believe in free speech and the video of concern was one that was banned on YouTube. That said, I would indeed not just upload copyright material, but that said, when creating a podcast, or a DJ mix of records of other artists, many professionals and their management are uploading these sets to eg Soundcloud, Mixcloud and other services. I would think, this would then also be possible to 3speak (and with that to HIVE). But there is a difference between, just uploading a song without adding once own creativity/value to it. A DJ set, or Podcast is adding own value to the content. I never created something like that, nor uploaded, but I would choose a lower bitrate or something so that the original music content doesn't have the highest quality possible, and obviously I would only do this when I use copyright material in my own creation, like a DJ set, Podcast or whatever.

i thought it seemed like the hive isn't too crazy busy so i figured a little more quality music wasnt a bad thing, i hope i wasnt overposting

HIVE is indeed not too busy, and the quality of content is maybe not always that great. So if you can change that, please do so; I personally like the less mainstream stuff of any kind :)

On overposting, well, I think there are no rules, though I usually dont post more than one time a day. More and more users are posting same or very similar content every day, sometimes multiple times a day. To me, those users become boring quickly. Why posting only one category?, is what puzzles me. Social media is about being social and I need to find the first person that I really like while we talk about a single topic only :)

Never say sorry for long comments. Not to me at least :) I tend to write long comments, but I think I belong to a very small group at HIVE doing so. Quick content we have Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for. I still hope HIVE will be about being more social, more interaction, more quality to the interaction and even discussions than the usual fast, quick and dirty content at the mentioned traditional social media.
