Hahaha, a great comparison you made! I do agree, progress means learning from what we've done and improve. But that said: Sometimes the old and original has value, more than just historical value. And even the things we leave behind because it does serve a purpose anymore, we shall not forget since when the original was never created, the evolution path from the original would never been mapped :)
