To start with: I'm not a developer at all and not connected to the HIVE developers. Also, though I said I can be ok with a streaming reward model when we have SMTs and core HIVE rewards are not distributed for content and curation anymore. Though I don't believe HIVE shall start to compete with music focussed platforms and chains. HIVE is and needs to leverage what it has been building into its own blockchain. I like to see HIVE SMT to become the platform to power the new MOON token of Reddit for instance (now its Ethereum based). I would like to see integration of user experience between eg Patreon and HIVE. I would like to see independent journalist platforms to bring their content to HIVE, or at least use HIVE as one of their channels. I would like to see the music review world to start using HIVE or HIVE related technology for their interview and review channels and all. I think we'll need thousands and thousands of man days of business activities and development to make all this work in one or the other way.

Integration with Musicoin is also fine for me, but in a blogging style, ie let Musicoin clip be possible to embed into a HIVE post, like we can embed a YouTube or Soundcloud clip. I dont see why the HIVE reward pool shall be used to pay streaming, let Musicoin do this.

I listen music where I have the choice, that is Spotify (have a subscription with them). Also Soundcloud for electronic music. Do I go to Musicoin, Emenate, Choon (when it was still there) to listen music? Very very rarely. Mostly only when I curate music on the HIVE chain and someone post music stored at these platforms. Choice of music is to little, quality is not god enough, difficult to find cool music, user experience for the listener is poor, service doesnt always work etc etc etc.

My goal would be to join the two platform and move from PPP fix rate to PPP variable rate. Thanks to Hive delegation stake feature.

I suggest to reach out to the developers of HIVE to discuss with them if they like to create something like this.
