So far HIVE is a blogging chain, not a streaming chain. Posts through DSound gets rewards from a blogging point of few, so you are wrong in stating the music is going for free. Only when we decide to use SMT (or however token creation is gonna be called on HIVE) solely for content rewarding, ie no HIVE distributed for content creation and curation, than I'm ok with streaming like revenue model features which can be chosen by a community as the reward model instead of blogging like reward models. Keep in mind, we already mix too many different services eating from the same reward pool, we cant have more models and services in the mix. That said, I dont see it happening too quickly the HIVE reward pool will be abandoned for rewarding content and curators, the current high earners won't like it since a new coin/token will have less, much less value, but over time HIVE will have much more value since that'll be the only way to stop all the wars and drama around HIVE reward pool and the abuse thereof.
