How cool you posted this one. I was watching this one this morning, going through FB feed and there it was. Yeah, I do respect her for what she does. I remember all the shit she got when she played a few gigs on Ibiza taking in a few million Euro. But I can tell you, a year or so before her Ibiza gigs (cant remember the exact year, maybe 10 years ago or so) I was at Ushuaia Beach Club/Hotel in Ibiza when she appeared on stage while some hot shot urban DJ was playing; 5 minutes she spend in the DJ booth, 5 minutes with her eyes and fingers on her phone; And then left again. The crowd cheering like crazy! Pure promotion for the Club owner, paying her in the 5 figures for this 5 minutes. Really amazing how she made herself a brand; And why not using it? The gigs a few years later was heavily debated: Did she play, or just brought a recording? Many professional DJs complaining, including some of my own friends who are DJs. My response always: She earns with a few gigs the amount you guys earn in your whole lifetime. Who is crazy now? For sure, she has the brand for promoters to make money on tickets. As you, I dont like the style of music she plays, hence I never listen to it. But: Chapeau for Paris Hilton.
