Fiverr Sucks

I just wanted to share a personal experience in fiverr, where I'm (still) a top seller...

Recently I received a notification that one of my gigs had been suspended. Interesting, after 800 sales they found something wrong in my presentation video and they decide to suspend the gig without reporting what they found...

I became one of the first top rated sellers because my underwater video template was something never seen before.

It is not easy to create a template like this. First of all, you need the footage. I challenge any of you to try to record something similar underwater. I can tell you what it takes because I did it personally.

I was so satisfied with the results of my first experience that I decide to create a new gig with a professional diver. This was done on a trip to Greece where I found the right person who understood my request and was able to perform the task to perfection. I worked on the template with the best sample footage we took, but it was one out of not less than 20 shots.

So as you may realize there was a lot of effort, creativity and money put on this project.

In the early days, when fiverr was a small community, this would have been appreciated and they rewarded my gig with a "Featured" banner. I had lots of traffic and orders! I sold more than 2000 gigs. But suddenly things changed.

Fiverr became another big company, focused more on making money than on keeping the original spirit.

That's why I say they suck. I feel disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were too idealistic? Don't know.
