Jediism is an inter-religious initiative and a syncretistic religion (Syncretism: Tendency to unite and harmonize opposing currents of thought or ideas). A faith that includes elements of religions such as Taoism, Shintoism, Buddhism, Christianity, mysticism and many other truths from other universal religions, a combination of martial arts and the Code of Chivalry. These philosophies are the heart of Jediism, and not the wonderful Star Wars movies, except to serve as parables.
The Royal Jedi are the modern versions of the Monk Shao Lin, the European Knight, and the Samurai Warrior. The Jedi religion is an inspiration and a way of life for many people around the world who take up the mantle of the Jedi. Jediism is but a new name for ancient religions. The Masters of Jediism have been here on Earth for over 5,000 years under many names including Buddha, Jesus, Lao Tzu, Saint Francis of Assisi, Gandhi, Martin Luther King and so many others ...
A Jedi applies the principles, ideals, philosophies and teachings of Jediism in a practical way in their lives. The Jedi seek the living Force of creation for guidance. The Jedi follows the light side of the Force which is the proper use of the Force. The misuse and abuse of the Force is wrong (or the "dark side").
