That's the Island of Antler, located in north west Bali. It's half an hour voyage ...
... by boat to get there. I have just left the island when I took this photo. It looked very tiny from the boat. The white sand beach still cound be seen. The little huts were also visible from the boat as I went back to the main island of Bali.
Almost everyday there are people coming and going the island. Mostly they go there for snorkeling in the sea around the island. There are some good spots around the island for spotting tropical fish, like the clown fish, aka Nemo.
There are also Balinese people going there to go the temple which is built in the island. There will be more of them on religious days or festival time.
People only stay there for a couple of hours as there is no accommodation in this tiny island. Thy usually arrive in the morning, go swimming or snorkeling around the island, then open their picnic basket for lunch there. (yes, nobody sell any food there.). And go back to the main island before it gets dark.
Yup, like what I did that time, going back to Bali.
Well, surely I would go back to the island and spent some time there.
