Hello beloved friends, greetings to all of us in this community. Soon we have left 2022 And We will enter 2023. The basics in 2022 it was a very fun year and hopefully 2023 will also be more fun than previous years. All right, all friends. On this occasion, we have determined a very interesting theme, namely what we want to do when looking forward to the new year. Maybe the people who live in urban areas of course they always celebrate the New Year's celebration in a very extraordinary way. What about people who live in rural areas, people who live in rural areas of course also celebrate the New Year, although it's not the same as people in urban areas. Usually the people in the village celebrate the New Year by making an event of burning sticky rice in bamboo. A few days before the new year starts, people in the village have planned to collect money together to buy ingredients to burn sticky rice in bamboo.
The process of burning sticky rice in bamboo is very unique, so the ingredients that must be prepared are rice, sticky rice, bamboo, banana leaves, coconut milk and also jam. So first they wash the rice clean then the rice is mixed with coconut milk and then the bamboo that has been prepared is put in banana leaves according to the bamboo circle then the rice that has been soaked with sticky rice is put into the bamboo and then burned with fire. When it is burned, care must also be taken so that the bamboo does not burn too. When the glutinous rice is cooked, it will be eaten using the jam provided. Holding an event like this with the people in the village is certainly something that many people in the countryside have been waiting for. Because for the villagers this is an event that is always done when celebrating the turn of the year. So the people in our area don't celebrate Christmas because the people here are generally Muslim, so they don't celebrate Christmas.
Maybe there are also some people in the city who celebrate the New Year like rural communities. But it is more common for people in the city to celebrate the New Year with firecrackers and also decorated with very beautiful lights. I myself also really want to be able to celebrate the New Year in big cities but until now I haven't had the opportunity to be able to celebrate it because where I live is also very far from big cities. Even though celebrating the New Year by making a sticky rice meal with the community, of course this is also something that I really like.
I always hope that in 2023 I can be even better and smoother in carrying out my activities. And my hope is also that in 2023 I can get a steady job that has a fixed salary every month. I'm interested in people who have regular jobs because they always get special allowances at the time of the new year and some also get bonuses. That's why I really think that in 2023 I can get a job like those who can have benefits. Usually at the turn of the year many new workers are recruited and I hope that if there is a vacancy later I will definitely register and hopefully I can be accepted in places where I can work regularly. So the point is to celebrate this upcoming new year, of course I'm still celebrating in my hometown with the rural community, hopefully in 2023 we will all remain in good health and always, and all matters will be facilitated.
