Hello beloved friends, greetings to all of us in the Hive Learners community. Always excited for all of us to participate in activities and contests in this community that we love so much. On this occasion I want to rewrite my article and here I want to discuss about how my memories were when I was waiting for the new year. As we know, in almost all regions there is certainly a celebration of the New Year. And as we also know, many people always prepare in advance what they plan to welcome the new year. In fact, many people welcome the new year every time they go on vacation with their family and friends, of course if people who have a lot of money they will choose to be able to take a vacation to celebrate the new year in developed countries. But what about people? people in the village who don't have much money, of course they also celebrate the new year with things as usual either in burning firecrackers or eating together and also other events that have been prepared in the village area.
So previously we who lived in the village also always celebrated the new year with some memories that I still remember very much. So I'm a Muslim and of course I don't celebrate Christmas, but we only celebrate the New Year on New Year's Eve. As I have discussed before, maybe people in rural areas are also very happy to celebrate the New Year, even with very simple events. At the turn of 2017 to 2018, the sub-district where I live held a concert to celebrate the new year. This concert is an ordinary concert sung by several local singers in your area.
At the time of the concert to celebrate the turn of the year and at that time I served as a parking attendant who arranged vehicles for visitors to watch the concert. At that time, there were a lot of people who went to see the concert which was held in a field in the area where we live. And for every vehicle that is parked where we guard it, we must pay Rp. 2,000 Rupiah, at a price of Rp. 2,000 per two-wheeled vehicle. Of course, all of us can get a lot of profit at that time. Because the number of vehicles that come to park at the place we guard is more than 1,000 vehicles. When my friends and I were ready to carry out our duties as parking attendants and when we were ready, we got quite a lot of money and before that I had never earned that much money in one night.
On the edge of the field, the vacant land that was just ready to be filled in and the vacant land belonged to my friend's family and my friend and I plan to make that place a parking lot for vehicles on the night of the event. So what is most profitable for us is that we don't have to pay rent for the parking lot because it already belongs to my friend's family. My friend also doesn't want to be paid for his land but he wants to share the results we get.
After being ready for the event and the next day it started January 1 in 2018 and on January 1 we didn't go anywhere and just rested at home because we were very tired all night having taken care of thousands of vehicles at the event. We decided to take a vacation on January 2, 2018 with other friends who also guarded the parking lot that night. Because the money we get is enough for us to play where we want, of course we will spend some of that money on vacation in the new year. Maybe at that time we were very happy with our friends by carrying out our duties by parking and very grateful that there were no problems and no vehicles were lost and we are very grateful that we were able to get a lot of profit that night. Maybe this is a memory that is not forgotten by me and also by my other friends.
