Hello friends. Greetings. Today I would like to present a cultural-themed drawing. With a pencil and A4-sized paper, I made a Sigale-Gale statue on the island of Samosir, North Sumatra. The Sigale-Gale statue is closely related to the culture of the Batak tribe on Samosir island. In the Batak community in Samosir, the Sigale-Gale statue is sculpted to resemble the figure of a Batak king named Manggale. Before Christianity entered the Samosir region, the Sigale-Gale statue was played during death rituals. In the modern era, the Sigale-Gale statue is played for recreational purposes by tourists.
