Well, I respect your point of view but I don't really understand why anyone would think that. No Final Fantasy games are set in the same world with a connecting story so it's not like people who don't want to play an MMO is missing out on the overall story by not playing FFXIV. By that logic they should just have every game be a new IP instead of including it in the "saga". But that's just my take. I'm weird.
