I'm definitely doing something wrong and I'm quite aware of it. It's just that the right way to do combat in this game feels extremely tedious and un-fun to me. I'm not switching to easy because it's to hard but because it's just not a good system in my opinion.

Do you mean the gray hooded ghosts that come around every now and then? I'm playing FF for the first time so everything is new to me, haha.
