In my last post of Final Fantasy 7: Remake character portraits I was showing off Cloud and Aerith. I chose to show off those two first since I had the most screenshots of them. I also saw it fitting to split these character portraits into two posts seeing as the character development between Cloud and Aerith had a lot of focus in the game.
For this post I'm going to focus on the members of Avalanche, the eco-terrorist group we assist throughout the game. This includes iconic characters like Tifa whom I figure every gamer ever has heard of even if they haven't played Final Fantasy 7. Most of the game also revolves around completing missions as a hired mercenary for Avalanche which basically makes them main characters as well.
This time I've also done a bit of color touchup in Photoshop to some of the pictures. The lighting isn't perfect in all scenes and some pictures just end up being way to blue. Giving the photos a touchup brings out the contrasts a bit more and just makes the photos look a lot better.
Tifa
Tifa is such an iconic character that she deserves her own headline and section in this post. She appears a lot so naturally there's also a lot more photos of her in my screenshot folder. I promise it's not only because she's pretty and has a big personality.
Avalanche
The members of Avalanche are interesting and unique. There's Barrett, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge. Jessie and Barrett are my personal favorites here both from their design and character personalities. There's probably going to be an overload of Jessie and Barrett pictures in this category, but generally less of each character than with Cloud, Aerith and Tifa. They simply have less screen time and less close-ups.
