A moment of inspiration
I want to welcome you to my new moment of inspiration.
If there's one thing my parents taught me, it's to try, not to be left wondering if I could have done it and how it would have turned out. But they also taught me never to be ashamed of the results, because everything that is done with honesty and from the heart, cannot be wrong.
That's why today I want to show you my drawing... and even though I didn't get the expected result, I'm not ashamed and worth the redundancy, of the final result.
Momento de inspiraci贸n
Quiero darte la bienvenida a mi nuevo momento de inspiraci贸n.
Si hay algo que mis padres me ense帽aron, es a intentar, a no quedarme con la duda de si lo pude haber hecho y c贸mo habr铆a resultado. Pero adem谩s me ense帽aron a no avergonzarme nunca de los resultados, porque todo lo que se hace con honestidad y desde el coraz贸n, no puede estar mal.
Es por esto, que hoy quiero mostrarte mi dibujo... y aunque no obtuve el resultado esperado, no me averg眉enzo y valga la redundancia, del resultado final.
Step by step
I will tell you through a collage of images that I created with PhotoScape, how were the first steps.
The first thing I did was to draw a horizontal line, marking the center and both ends.
Paso a paso
Te voy a contar a trav茅s de un collage de im谩genes que cre茅 con PhotoScape, c贸mo fueron los primeros pasos.
Lo primero que hice fue trazar una l铆nea horizontal, marcando el centro y ambos extremos.
The first thing I did was to draw a horizontal line, marking both ends and the middle of the line and two smaller lines, both above and below, as seen in the central image of the collage.
Then the ends of the center line are joined, with the smaller lines, as you can see in the first image of the collage, from left to right.
In the following images of the collage, you can notice that I was shaping the lips, according to the thickness and the delineation that I liked.
Lo primero que hice fue trazar una l铆nea horizontal, marcando ambos extremos y el medio de la l铆nea y dos l铆neas m谩s peque帽as, tanto arriba como abajo, como se observa en la imagen central del collage.
Luego se unen los extremos de la l铆nea central, con las l铆neas m谩s peque帽as, como lo puedes ver en la primera imagen del collage, de izquierda a derecha.
En las siguientes im谩genes del collage, puedes notar que le iba dando forma de labios, seg煤n el grosor y el delineado que me gustaba.
Now you start to give it color. Normally I like to paint only with pencil, but I wanted to try something new. We will see.
I used the colors:
- Red
- Orange
- Pink
- White
- Black
- Yellow
And I emphasized some lines with red and pink fine-tip markers, respectively.
Ahora comienzas a darle color. Normalmente me gusta pintar solo a l谩piz, pero quise intentar algo nuevo. Ya veremos.
Yo utilic茅 los colores:
- Rojo
- Naranja
- Rosa
- Blanco
- Negro
- Amarillo
Y enfatic茅 algunas l铆neas con marcadores de punta fina de color rojo y rosa, respectivamente.
Notice how, little by little, it is taking on color; of course, there is still a long way to go. What I did too, was with a graphite pencil, giving the shape and shading of the teeth.
F铆jate bien c贸mo poco a poco, va tomando color; claro que a煤n falta mucho. Lo que hice tambi茅n, fue con un l谩piz de grafito, dar la forma y sombreado de los dientes.
The idea of these color shades that I chose, is precisely to try to give a certain touch of realism. I wanted to start first with the upper lip and then continue with the lower one.
La idea de estos tonos de color que escog铆, es justamente para tratar de darle cierto toque de realismo. Quise comenzar primero por el labio superior y luego continuar con el inferior.
This has been my rehearsal in this moment of inspiration.
Trying to do my best. I hope from the bottom of my heart, that you liked it, even if it's not a big deal. Let's say, a beginner's work.
Este ha sido mi ensayo en este momento de inspiraci贸n.
Tratando de hacerlo lo mejor que pod铆a. Espero de coraz贸n, que te haya gustado, aunque no sea una gran cosa. Digamos, un trabajo de principiante.
