Steve, it took me forever to get any good at drumming but having a teacher is so important. I had several different teachers over the years but the first one is the most important as they will show the the right way to do things so you don't injure yourself. I'm happy to help if you get stuck with anything, or if you just want a different perspective at any time...I'm only down the road after all.
