Our family has always been a religious one. We spend every Sunday in church and though I would like to say we read our bibles every night. I would be lying. As a child I took my religion way more seriously then I do now and sadly I have only recently started taking my religion seriously again. I know that God is now testing me in every aspect of my life. He throws challenges my way in the hopses that I would make the right choices . He puts challenges in my everyday life, to push back the swearword that tickels my throught, or to stray from hatred and jealousy.
Reasently He has thrown a new challenge my way. This challenge was not only thrown on me but, our entire country (South Africa). Of course not everywhere is suffering from drought and some places are worse off then others. One place in particular is Cape Town. Where I live. Has not had rain for months and dambs are slowly losing more and more water.
Today at church we had a payer moment for rain clouds filled the sky but, quickly disapered again. I feel like everyone has lost believe and until we get it back, there will be no rain. We need to pray like we have never prayed before. if we want rain. I want to ask everyone who's reading to pray to. I know it might be a lot to ask but we need all the prayers we can get.
People don't really realise how important water really is and if we don't get rain soon life will get a lot tougher for all of us. We have also decided to fast on Wednesday and those who want to join in would also make a difference
Thank you in advance for everyone sending out a prayer to South Africa for rain. Each and every prayer counts and makes a difference.
