In the year 2019 when i visited my aunts house which is in Haldwani, Uttarakhand we also went to a cave temple which is in Dehradun. It is also known as Thapkeshwar temple dedicated to lord shiva. It was such an wonderful journey. It was about 300 km long ride and the view from the window was really superb and i haven't took off my eyes from the view.We not only visited dehradun but also went to haridwar and spend some days there. To get to the main point or to say to shivalinga we have to pass through a natural cave. I don't know whether it is natural or made made but it looks like naturally formed. At the time of visiting there was construction going on and we couldn't see some part of the temple side.20170711_145116.jpg

There's a water current flowing from the side of the temple. At first i was scared to enter to the temple as the temple is located beneath a big stones. But i saw all the other peoples are entering fearlessly so i gathered some strength.

In the shivalinga there is continuous downpour of water from up of the rocks this makes the temple even more special.

We also visited robber's cave but there was a heavy rain the previous day so we couldn't see it from inside. there was a heavy current of water coming from inside of the cave.20170711_133222.jpg

Next time we have to be careful while planning and with proper inspection.

thanks for visiting.
