A very special #beersaturday

For this special event, I had a very special beer in mind. A beer worth about 18 STEEM!
But guess what - it was sold out :(

Texels it is again

So we are going for my tentatively last beer brewed by Texels.
But you never know - last time I could also present a Texels beer to you that is normally only available on the island.

Texels wit (wit = white)

A wheat beer brewed as the Germans do it.

The interesting thing about this kind of beer is that it still ripens after being bottled.

What do the brewery says about the beer?

Texels Wit is the fresh wheat beer from the island of Texel.
This special beer is traditionally brewed according to the traditional recipe of the German "Weizenbier".
Texels Wit has a full taste and is wonderfully fresh during the hot summer days.
Texels Wit is unfiltered, ripens after bottling and is brewed from only natural materials such as Texel barley and wheat.

Again, all they promised is true. The taste is not very intense but more like a lite beer, you can enjoy on a lovely summer day.

That was exactly what I did
