If you have been on Steem during the last year, you may know me already. If you don't, no worries, I don't take it personally. The goal of this new Steem account is to start fresh. I love to start fresh. You learn a bunch of things, you close a page of the book of your life and start writing a new one, bringing with you everything you have learned from your previous experiences. So...let's get it started.
I am a Software Developer with 12 years of experience developing amazing stuff and leading great teams. That should say it all.
Oh well, I did a lot. I have been through the great things and the bad stuff and I still enjoy it.
Right now I am in a "transition" period. I handed over the management of the startup that I loved so much just recently and I am currently moving away from my country to start a whole new adventure in a whole new place. While I am doing all of that, I enjoy coding for some exciting projects on Steem and beyond.
I am contributing to Steem Engine, for the simple fact that I can basically code whatever I want with it and I am not limited by the blockchain logics. I wish SMT will be flexible enough as the Steem blockchain would be capable to achieve so much more with that little bit of more flexibility. For now, Steem Engine is like writing on a white piece of paper and I love it.
In my spare time, I have been developing a new Steem Engine contract that will enable subscription-based models like pay per minute/hour/day/week/month. For the ways you can use this contract, your imagination is the only limit.
The contract is not fully completed yet as I was quite busy in the recent days (Sorry @Harpagon), but I am planning to get it done asap (probably in the next few days). Have a look at the full description here: https://github.com/harpagon210/steemsmartcontracts/pull/42
I will probably build some more tools and I am also looking to get more into the core itself. C++ is a lot of fun (nah this is a lie).
Aside from what I do on Steem, I am expanding my knowledge with some blockchain coding, smashing my brain on some machine learning and artificial intelligence, learning new programming languages...but most importantly working on my next-big-thing, and you are all invited.
