Today I would like to tell you about a wonderful experience that I had on Sunday together with my quadruped partner Polar 🐶, it is the first "DOG MARATHON" 🐾 that takes place in the city of Guarenas, Venezuela (where I currently live) a walk in which we had to travel a distance of 1 kilometer to a park that I often go to with Polar in the mornings to exercise.
Hoy me gustaría contarles una maravillosa experiencia que viví el día domingo junto con mí compañero cuadrúpedo Polar 🐶, se trata de el primer "PERROTON" 🐾 que se realiza en la ciudad de Guarenas, Venezuela (donde vivo actualmente) una caminata en la que debíamos recorrer una distancia de 1 kilómetro con destino a un parque al que frecuento muy seguido con Polar en las mañanas para ejercitarnos.
I found out about this great event thanks to my cousin who invited me to attend the marathon with her, to which I agreed without thinking twice, since I could not miss this experience in its first edition. My cousin invited several people to join us, but only one of our cousins accepted the invitation and the 3 of us left 😋.
Me enteré de este grandioso evento gracias mí prima que me invitó a asistir con ella al maratón, a lo cual accedí sin pensarlo dos veces, ya que no me podía perder de esta experiencia en su primera edición. Mí prima invitó a varias personas para que nos acompañarán, pero solo otra de nuestras primas acepto la invitación y nos fuimos nosotros 3 😋.
Upon arriving at the meeting point we found a small group of people and their beloved pets, we made a small queue so that the organizers of the event would register us to keep track of the pets that were arriving, since at the final destination point A veterinary care module was waiting for us and they had limited amounts of doses of vaccines and dewormers, so they needed to keep track of the pets that attended.
Al llegar al punto de encuentro nos encontramos con un pequeño cúmulo de personas y sus queridas mascotas, realizamos una pequeña fila para que los organizadores del evento nos registrarán para llevar un control de las mascotas que iban llegando, ya que en el punto de destino final nos esperaba un modulo de atención veterinaria y contaban con cantidades limitadas de dosis de vacunas y desparasitantes, por eso necesitaban llevar un control de las mascotas que asistieron.
Polar and I got number 33 😏 a number full of magnificence and balance 😌.
A Polar y a mí nos toco el número 33 😏 un número lleno de magnificencia y equilibrio 😌.
While we wait for the registration of the participants to end, which was about 100 people; our pets were getting to know each other and socializing with each other 😋.
Mientras esperábamos que finalizara el registro de los participantes, que fueron unas 100 personas; nuestras mascotas se estaban conociendo y socializando entre ellos 😋.
There was a team car with sound equipment that would lead the marathon, while a woman who is part of the organizers gave us various instructions speaking into a microphone through the car's sound system.
Había un automóvil equipado con equipos de sonido que encabezaría el maratón, mientras una mujer que forma parte de los organizadores nos daba varias instrucciones hablando con un micrófono mediante el equipo de sonido del automóvil.
When they finished with the registration of all the participants, they gave us instructions to get going in our DOG MARATHON 🐾, then we started with that journey to the destination parquet 😋.
Cuando terminaron con el registro de todos los participantes nos dieron instrucciones para ponernos en marcha en nuestro PERROTON 🐾, luego iniciamos con esa travesía hacía el parqué de destino 😋.
All those pets were very excited, because it was the first time that they were grouped in such magnitude; Polar was happier than ever, he loves being around people and other dogs 🐶.
Todas esas mascotas estaban muy emocionados, porque era primera vez que se agrupaban en esa magnitud; Polar estaba mas feliz que nunca, a él le encanta estar rodeado de personas y otros perros 🐶.
Half way through many puppies were already tired, it shows that they are not used to long walks, several parents had to carry their little pets to rest for a while 😅. Polar if he is a warrior 🦾, he and I do that tour almost every morning, that's already a short walk for him 😏.
A mitad de camino ya muchos cachorros estaban cansados, se nota que no estan acostumbrados a largas caminas, varios padres tuvieron que cargar a sus pequeñas mascotas para que descansaran un rato 😅. Polar si es guerrero 🦾, el y yo hacemos ese recorrido casi que todas las mañanas, ya eso es un pequeño paseo para el 😏.
Along the way I met several very particular pets, a lady carried a Morrocoy in her hand and the granddaughter of the same lady comfortably carried a cat inside a bag 😅.
En el camino conocí a varias mascotas muy particulares, una señora llevaba en la mano a un Morrocoy y la nieta de la misma señora llevaba cómodamente a un gato dentro de un bolso 😅.
We arrived at our destination "THE TRAPICHITO PARK" I took Polar's leash off so he can walk around the place freely and play with other puppies 😁.
Llegamos a nuestro destino "EL PARQUE DE TRAPICHITO" yo le quite la correa a Polar para que recorra el lugar con libertad y juegue con otros cachorros 😁.
Then they reorganized us to be able to take care of our pets in an orderly manner; patiently we all wait our turn to be served. What they were giving the pets was a dewormer and the rabies vaccine 💉.
Luego nos reorganizaron para poder atender de manera ordenada a nuestras mascotas; pacientemente todos esperamos nuestro turno de ser atendidos. Lo que le estaban proporcionando a las mascotas era un desparasitante y la vacuna antirrábica 💉.
Then they organized another small event inside the park, they made several contests for the pets and they gave prize food for pets to the winners and participants of the contest; many beautiful puppies participated in that event. I couldn't enter Polar in the contests because it took us a long time to be seen for the vaccines 🙃.
Luego organizaron otro pequeño evento dentro del parque, hicieron vários concurso para las mascotas y les entregaron de premió alimentos para mascotas a los ganadores y participantes del concurso; muchos cachorros hermosos participaron en ese evento. Yo no pude inscribir a Polar en los concursos porque nos tardamos mucho en ser atendidos para las vacunas 🙃.
This entire event was possible thanks to the MISSION NEVADO foundation, a non-profit organization that has spent years building a path of trust, responsibility and commitment to pets and animals in a state of abandonment; This organization has offices established in almost all the states of the country, serving hundreds of pets daily for free. They have the support of the Venezuelan government and security entities, which has allowed them to rescue flooded animals that are mistreated and have changed their lives by taking them to a home where they receive love and care. After a while my cousins and I decided to retire to return to our homes, we had already lived a wonderful experience it was time to go to rest 😌; I hope you like this post, good vibes 🖖🏼.
Todo este evento fue posible gracias a la fundación MISIÓN NEVADO, una organización sin fines de lucro que lleva años construyendo una trayectoria de confianza, responsabilidad y compromiso con las mascotas y los animales en estado de abandono; esta organización tiene sedes establecidas en casi todos los estados del país atendiendo a diario gratuitamente a cientos de mascotas, cuentan con el apoyo del gobierno de Venezuela y de los entes de seguridad, eso les a permitido rescatar a inundables animales que son maltratados y les han cambiado la vida llevándolos a un hogar en donde reciben amor y atención. Después de un rato mis primas y yo decidimos retirarnos para regresar a nuestros hogares , ya habíamos vívido una maravillosa experiencia era hora de ir a descansar 😌; espero que este post sea de su agrado, buenas vibras 🖖🏼.
