I recently had the opportunity to participate in a discussion related to the regional emerging art exhibition of which I am a part in this first edition exhibiting an installation piece, this discussion is part of a series of activities that we have been carrying out to promote the exhibition. Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de participar en un conversatorio vinculado con el salón regional de arte emergente del cual soy parte en esta primera edición exponiendo una pieza instalativa, este conversatorio es parte de una serie de actividades que se hemos estado realizando para impulsar la muestra expositiva.
This discussion took place at the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) in the Armando Reverón building, where I currently study visual arts. A large part of the audience were students from the Cristóbal Rojas Technical School of Visual Arts, located in Caracas, Venezuela. Generally, students who graduate from that technical school continue their studies in visual arts at UNEARTE. Este conversatorio se llevó a cabo en la universidad nacional experimental de las artes (UNEARTE) en la ceca Armando Reveron que es donde yo estudio actualmente artes plásticas; Gran parte del público que estaba en el conversatorio eran estudiantes de la Escuela Técnica de Artes Visuales Cristóbal Rojas que está ubicada en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela. Generalmente los estudiantes que se gradúan de esa escuela técnica continúan sus estudios en artes plásticas en la UNEARTE.
In the exhibition, only 21 emerging artists participated; most of these participants are students of UNEARTE, others are students of the technical school, and only about 3 participants are not affiliated with these two academic entities specializing in the visual arts. En la exposición participamos solo 21 artistas emergentes, gran parte de esos participantes somos estudiantes de la unearte, otros son estudiantes de la escuela técnica, solo unas 3 participantes son ajenas a estas dos entidades académicas especializadas en las artes visuales.
Not all the participants in the exhibition attended this discussion, as we have a schedule of various activities and we arranged for participants to rotate through each activity so that everyone could be present at the exhibition. Those of us who attended this time had the opportunity to discuss our artistic proposals and answer some questions from the audience, since those who were in the audience earlier had the opportunity to visit the art exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts. Para este conversatorio no asistimos todos los participantes de la exposición, ya que tenemos un cronograma de varias actividades y programamos que los participantes nos rotemos por actividad para que todos podamos tener presencia en la exposición. los que asistimos en esta ocasión, tuvimos la oportunidad de conversar sobre nuestras propuestas artísticas y responder algunas preguntas del público, ya que los que estaban en el publico anteriormente tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar la muestra de arte en el museo de bellas artes.
This activity was very interesting; the public reception was excellent. There was a great exchange of questions and answers that helped to develop a sense of identity for the exhibition in which these 21 emerging artists are participating in the prestigious galleries of the Museum of Fine Arts. We're here without connections, without well-known names, without paying a penny; we got here simply through a very strong artistic proposal. I hope you enjoyed this experience. Good vibes. Estuvo muy interesante esta actividad, hubo muy buena recepción del público, se realizó un buen intercambio de preguntas y respuestas que permitieron generarle un concepto de identidad a la muestra expositiva donde estamos participando estos 21 artistas emergentes en las prestigiosas salas del museo de bellas artes, sin contactos, sin apellidos reconocidos, sin pagar nada de dinero, solo apunta de una muy buena propuesta artística así llegue allí. Espero que les haya gustado esta experiencia, buenas vibras.
