hello again guys i was inactive for a few days because i was on bed rest due to a surgery i had last week, however in that time i got up the courage and i was able to make an illustration for the XP-PEN contest recreating a famous painting in your own style and giving it your touch, I chose a painting by William Adolphe Bouguereau titled "The Song of the Angels" where the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ are represented while three angels are playing a song, I selected this painting because I love the composition, the technique and the anatomical knowledge of the artist.
as for the reinterpretation i remembered that studying the history of lyrical singing and classical music i read that a long time ago the people who could have access to listen to musical pieces were upper class people. i wanted to reflect that same thing but in a cyberpunk style future, therefore in my recreation the virgin would be represented by a wealthy woman who has the economic power to have robots that sing and play music for her and her baby. finally i would like to clarify that i am not looking to mock or damage the image of religious figures.

hola otra vez chicos estuve unos días inactivo ya que estaba cumpliendo reposo debido a una cirugía que tuve la semana pasada sin embargo en ese tiempo me armé de valor y pude realizar una ilustración para el concurso de XP-PEN recreando una pintura famosa en tu propio estilo y dándole tu toque, yo escogí una pintura de William Adolphe Bouguereau titulada "La Canción de los Ángeles" donde se ve representada a la virgen maría y a Jesucristo mientras tres ángeles están tocando una canción, seleccione esta pintura porque me encanta la composición, la técnica y los conocimientos anatómicos del artista.
en cuanto a la reinterpretación recordé que estudiando la historia del canto lirico y la música clásica leí que hace mucho tiempo las personas que podían tener acceso a escuchar piezas musicales eran personas de clase alta. quise reflejar eso mismo pero en un futuro al estilo cyberpunk por ende en mi recreación la virgen estaría representada por una mujer adinerada que tiene el poder económico para tener robots que canten y toquen música para ella y su bebé. por ultimo quisiera aclarar que no busco burlarme ni dañar la imagen de figuras religiosas.
