Vine-Covered Light
On this occasion, while heading to a gathering with friends through one of the old streets in the center of my city, I came across a light pole entirely wrapped in vines all the way to the top. I found the way it looked quite unusual, so I decided to snap a couple of photos to show in this post. There is not much need for long explanations; the scene speaks for itself through the pictures.
Running into details like this while walking through the historic district highlights the constant overlap between urban infrastructure and wild growth. The vines climbing the metal pole create a distinct visual contrast against the surrounding architecture. Capturing this spot was a quick, straightforward stop along the way to meet up with everyone.

En esta ocasi贸n, mientras me dirig铆a a una reuni贸n con amigos por una de las antiguas calles del centro de mi ciudad, me tope con un poste de luz rodeado de enredaderas hasta la parte superior. Se me hizo muy curiosa la forma en la que se ve铆a, as铆 que decid铆 tomarle un par de fotos que muestro en este post. No hace falta explicar mucho; la escena se percibe a trav茅s de las fotos.
Toparse con detalles como este mientras se camina por el distrito hist贸rico resalta la superposici贸n constante entre la infraestructura urbana y el crecimiento silvestre.
