Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. Today I would like to share some thoughts on the Tideflat Beachcomber card. In Splinterlands we often focus heavily on powerful legendary or epic cards however there are some common cards that when used correctly can play a significant role in battle. For me this is one such card.

The most compelling aspect of this card is its dual element advantage. It can be used in both water and life splinter teams providing players with more options when assembling their lineup. This is particularly useful when a team must be built using cards from a specific element. With a mana cost of only 2 it is also easily playable in low mana battles.

Another notable feature is its health boosting ability linked to deaths. Whenever a monster is defeated during a battle this card’s maximum health increases by one point. I find this ability quite intriguing although its health is limited at the start of a match it can gain more health as the battle progresses. This becomes especially effective in longer battles where multiple monsters from either side are defeated.

However I believe it is better utilized as a support monster rather than a primary attacker. Its core strength does not lie in dealing massive amounts of damage but rather in adding an extra monster to the team for a low mana cost and increasing its own health as the battle unfolds. Consequently using it alongside strong attackers and defenders can help maintain a better overall balance within your team.

That said the card does have its limitations. Its base attack and health are quite low meaning it could be defeated quickly if faced with a powerful attack early in the battle. Furthermore its health boosting ability relies on other monsters being defeated so it may not be equally effective across all rulesets or battle situations. For those who prefer to defeat their opponents through rapid aggressive attacks this might not be the first choice.

Overall I consider it an effective low mana utility monster. Its dual element advantage and health boosting trait can prove highly beneficial to the team when utilized with the right strategy. Thank you all very much for reading today’s post.
