Everyone knows how important and relevant electricity is especially if you are someone who lives, sleeps and wake on the internet like i am or probably you daily job and task mostly evolve on the internet then you wouldn't agree less on how important electricity is. To further make a foundation for my point electricity and water is always the most demands in a rural area and obviously electricity is what brings about the availability of water so we can see that electricity is utmost.
Too bad in some countries or my own country rather, the debate on a steady electricity has been a challenging issue for the past years since I was born to be honest we've always been on the debate to have a steady electricity in the country but hopefully there have been an improvement better in the urban areas. But here, i want to tell us about the worse power outage I ever experienced and how it affected me.
Back in the year 2017, i could recall vividly when we lost power in my region for 8 months that was nearly quarter a year no sign of electricity and this was due to a fact that several electric cable poles collapsed in a residential area after a mighty wind and a heavy down pour. This was a dangerous situation because live cables landed on the roof tops and caused a serious disaster but thank God no lives were lost.
This issue kept the whole residence in a total blackout for eight good months before authorities could intervene to restore power but during this period, it happened to be a difficult time for us because electricity was a necessity for survival I mean first of all, we pump water through electricity and most of the time cooking was done with electric cookers and gas cylinders weren't so common as at that time.
Fortunately for me i didn't really work more with electricity because all i was missing were my favorite TV shows and nothing more.
It was a time where so many people had to fend for their own power supply in any way they could and that always brought about disturbing noise in the evening and at night hours, yes if you don't have a generator i don't know how you're going to handle your own mosquitos so you can sleep comfortably.
Apart from that, the situation cost so many people their businesses especially those who operate with machineries that requires electricity to use and also small businesses and shops like the hair saloons had to increase their costs of services due to the fact that they are trying to consider the amount of petrol they consume in a daily and this was the part which affected me a lot because the normal hair cut i always had for β¦200 became β¦300.
In conclusion, i still stand on the motion to say that electricity is the most important factor and shouldn't be deprived in a society because through adequate electricity, they are better chances and a higher rate of survival because food will be processed and jobs will be carried out on one medium call electricity.
