Proofs are so interesting. And my favorite coin, too! I knew there was some level of special care involved, but the specifics just make the entire process and coin itself more appreciable!
I admit that when I was younger I thought proof just meant uncirculated, but with more pomp. Kind of like First Day of Issue stamps.
