Wow didn't realize I just went through 105 comments! Also went on a bit of an upvote spamming spree (I usually show more stuff control!) What an engaging community. I may be needing a little improvement in the curation department though. I usually reply to every comment I get but sometimes I don't get your notification for some reason so if anyone thinks I ignored them, sorry!
Ok! Garden talk:
or
You may have noticed that I totally about coffee grounds a lot. It's probably my favorite garden resource. I use it for a variety of different jobs. Today I will be sharing a simple recipe for a strong plant pick-me-up!
I think I am succeeding in befriending the gnomes I've come into contact with. There is increasingly more activity! Last night I stole a glimpse of a group of them that actually walked over my feet in single file. I even felt their light little feet press lightly down on me. I left two miniature spades standing in my lavender container and the pot with the variegated fish pepper. They like gardening (bring of the earth element) so little things like that encourage them. I need to put a set in the outdoor garden too.
I tend to whistle when I'm irrigating and well I'm also a musician so I'd like to think I can whistle in tune. If there were any gnomes around (probably as there are many places where they could hide now) I hope they liked the tune. Today it was Czardas by Vittorio Monti (for violin). Give it a listen; you may like it.
I learned a few things reading all the comments today:
All my houseplant babies are waiting for the day I drop dead next to them so that they can feed off me
I think I might be the baby of our HiveGarden family‽
Well I'm used to being the baby. Was practically raised by 4 sisters but I didn't get gardening from them. They refer to me by many titles: the boy, #5, YTP'ed versions of my actual name, and even so far as "plant whisperer". They do often come to me for help or to give a diagnosis.
Didn't take part in the little game. Sorry not sorry.
Good to know people recognize me though. I wonder if I made it harder due to the recent profile picture change? It just made more sense to change it to a pixelated (homemade!) version of my discord picture since I interact with quite a few Hivers there. Also,
haha @riverflows you would pick that picture of me for this contest!
Ok I'm done now. You have listened to proto26's ramblings. Goodnight.
