If big stake holders upvote themselves when they are bringing no or very little value then we have a problem. Anytime a post seems over rewarded especially by it's own author, it should be downvoted. I downvoted your post now because I don't think it adds as much value as you ascribed to it. It's funny that this post is the first time I've downvoted a big stakeholder for self voting low quality content. Maybe that's the reaction you were looking for, I'm not sure. I'm not here support or demonize self voting. Like @calumam said there are too many gray areas for a simple yes or no to this question.
