Hello fam, today I'd like to share this portrait I did recently for a new friend in the states. I had it shipped safely over there from Nigeria and it brought so much joy to them.
I've only taken a few commissions recently as I spend more time creating for myself nowadays, every time I do I want it to be really worth it
I took my time on this one, laying a freehand sketch where I studied the proportions to start. The angle and lighting were just perfect and isn't she just adorable! I enjoyed working on this one.

I use a brush to apply a base layer of charcoal powder, building the bigger tonal relationships first
Medium: Graphite and Charcoal on paper!
