Hello fellow Steemians, welcome to my daily NBA picks. Today I will focus on multiple games/picks.
The first game, in chronological order, Spurs vs Hawks , pits a somewhat unpredictable Spurs team vs the team with the worst record in the NBA. The line for this game surprised me a lot, especially considering the fact that the Spurs are now relatively healthy. Not reading to much into the lines, I believe the Spurs will win this one comfortably.
Second game, Warriors vs Cavs , needs no introduction. The defending champions face a Cleveland team which is in shambles. I know, I know, this has written trap all over it, but, I can't ignore the data. The Cavs have played eight games since their last encounter, on Christmas Day. They have lost 6 games, 4 of them by 10+ points. In contrast, the Warriors have played 10 games and lost only 2. They are healthy and Steph Curry has had a hot hand from three points range since returning from injury. I just can't imagine this game being close.
Third game, Rockets vs Clippers , pits a surprising powerful Rockets team, without James Harden. Chris Paul has really acclimated to the mike d'antoni style of play. It seems to fit him like a glove, he's putting up big numbers. CP3 is back and he is playing his old team. The Clippers are also on a roll, having won their last four games, behind the monster numbers being put by Lou Williams. They are fighting to enter the top 8 teams, so they are extra motivated. This should be a very nice game to watch.
