This was another win for the Raptors at home, improving an already very impressive record. It was one of the better performances by Lowry since he got back, a 24 point performance, which is very impressive considering his team scored only 86. The scoring troubles continue for San Antonio, they are truly struggling without Leonard. Both team shot poorly from the field, 34.1% for San Antonio, 40% for the Raptors. My pick here was -5.5, spread. I was counting on another poor offensive performance on the road for San Antonio, however I did not account for the Raptor low score. They are on average much better offensively. My second pick, La Marcus Aldridge point total also went bust. I was counting on him taking more shots now, due to the many injuries the Spurs have. This happened, he shot a lot, but he was 6/25 from the field...
As I explained in my pick post, both teams are in a bit of a slump, but Phoenix can score the ball, and score they did. Booker dropped 30, with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. I really enjoy his game, he is a legit star, I hope Phoenix's front court can surround him with top notch talent. Even though I had confidence The Suns will cover here, I was kind off surprised they managed to pull of the road win. I guess Denver slump is greater than I thought.
