Squid Game se puede resumir en la muñeca que estoy seguro ya todos han visto, ese elemento es potente y pienso es lo que ha generado un boca a boca que ha puesto esta historia en la estratosfera. El éxito es colosal y aprovechando esto manifestare lo regular que es ya que para nada me parece una joya, es una serie que cumple con entretener, un potente inicio mas algunos elementos que pudiera considerar originales pero no es la octava maravilla del mundo.
Es una serie que piso muy fuerte a nivel mundial, fue tanto el hype generado que me anime a verla sin conocer nada de la serie, tengo que destacar hago esto para poder disfrutar al máximo la historia sin ver trailers, etc y así dejar todo me sorprenda de manera espontánea.
El Juego del calamar brilla por el boca a boca y el hype generado en los espectadores, esto es innegable pero esto no quiere decir que lo planteado en su trama sea sublime, se que la gran mayoría puede tenerla en un top de series pero en mi caso la veo como una serie mas que inclusive me aburre al final con sus diálogos eternos que no llevan a nada.
Esta es una serie gigante, por tanto puedo tranquilamente criticarla fuerte en muchos aspectos que tiene detalles y no se dicen, no me gusta criticar en exceso películas o series que se consideran fracaso porque no me gusta hacer leña de árbol caído, en esos casos me enfoco en lo positivo que tenga si es que lo tienen claro jaja PERO en este caso puedo darle con todo a la vez que mencionare lo bueno como su banda sonora que le da una identidad única a la serie y la distribución étnica muy bien balanceada con personajes que tienen sentido.
Squid Game para mi es la muñeca, quiero mas de ella porque muchos de sus personajes están muy lejos de generarme alguna simpatía, reconozco buenas actuaciones pero en otras sufro con verlas o simplemente me parecen olvidables. Cuando inicio el hype, pensé en algo como Game of Thrones ya que desde esos tiempos no veía tanta locura alrededor de una serie pero cuando empecé a verla, tiene la misma estructura de muchas como por ejemplo el escudo protector de la pluma del autor protegiendo a los protagonistas de todo.
Recuerdo que pensé por tanto revuelo en las redes sociales que no habrían protagonistas y esto pienso fuera sido un plus enorme para la serie porque haría que el espectador no sepa si su personaje favorito perecerá pero al estar tan claro el protagonista, simplemente no me sorprende, yo se que el siempre estará bien y esto aburre.
Con base a lo anterior, es totalmente recomendable de ver sobre todo al inicio que es donde tiene su potencial al máximo pero luego decae haciéndose interminable para mi, su poderoso score será 6.5 chiquitos de 10 por cumplir en el aspecto entretener porque si que lo hizo, ideas llamativas que no había visto plus el toque infantil mortal de los juegos.

The Squid Game shines by word of mouth and the hype generated in the viewers, this is undeniable but this does not mean that the raised in its plot is sublime, I know that the vast majority can have it in a top series but in my case I see it as a series that even bores me at the end with its eternal dialogues that lead to nothing.
This is a giant series, therefore I can easily criticize it strongly in many aspects that have details and are not said, I do not like to criticize in excess movies or series that are considered failures because I do not like to make wood of fallen tree, in those cases I focus on the positive that it has if they have it clear haha BUT in this case I can hit it with everything while I will mention the good as its soundtrack that gives a unique identity to the series and ethnic distribution very well balanced with characters that make sense.
Squid Game for me is the doll, I want more of it because many of its characters are far from generating any sympathy, I recognize good performances but in others I suffer with seeing them or simply seem forgettable. When the hype started, I thought of something like Game of Thrones since I haven't seen so much madness around a series since those times, but when I started watching it, it has the same structure as many others, for example the protective shield of the author's pen protecting the main characters from everything.
I remember that I thought because of so much hype on social networks that there would be no protagonists and I think this would be a huge plus for the series because it would make the viewer not know if his favorite character will perish but being so clear about the protagonist, it just does not surprise me, I know he will always be fine and this is boring.
Based on the above, it is totally recommendable to watch especially at the beginning which is where it has its full potential but then declines becoming interminable for me, its powerful score will be 6.5 out of 10 for fulfilling in the entertaining aspect because it did, striking ideas that I had not seen plus the deadly childish touch of the games.
Comienza la Reseña con Spoilers que es donde vengo con todo. Me fascino la muñeca detectora de movimiento, pienso que esto fue lo que hizo se hiciera tan viral la serie, este juego combinado con la voz de la muñeca, movimiento de ojos y la matanza que ocurre fueron la fórmula perfecta para impulsar a la serie a todos los rincones del planeta, me encanto y de hecho quisiera que vuelva, toca esperar que sucederá en la segunda temporada pero esta muñeca se gano mi nostalgia.
Lo mejor de la serie argumentalmente es el desarrollo de la amistad entre los personajes Cho Sang-woo y Abdul Ali, el semi villano de la historia que debe hipotecas y el inmigrante pakistaní ya que su crecimiento empieza desde cero, no se conocen pero a medida que avanza la serie, el lazo de amistad entre ambos es poderoso y natural, ese gesto de Cho al prestarle dinero a pesar de deber demuestra que el no es una mala persona y Abdul es un Ángel cuyo empleador lo exploto aprovechándose de su condición como inmigrante.
La distribución étnica me pareció acertada, es lo que la historia pide y simplemente fluye, Abdul por ser inmigrante crea simpatía debido a su sufrimiento familiar y como le cortan un dedo en su país natal, genera pesar en el espectador. Esto fue muy bien manejado en la serie al llevar una buena crítica en contra de ese país.
Todas estas migajas las vamos conociendo a medida que Cho y Abdul vuelven solida su amistad a través de las pruebas, rivales fuertes, uno es el escudo del otro hasta que llega el clímax de esta amistad, uno de los dos tiene que morir y será a manos de otro. A este punto la traición es sublime y correcta, Cho hizo lo que tenía que hacer, fue mas frío y calculador pero eso no quiere decir que su conciencia no lo castigue.
Abdul sin embargo hizo lo que no debió hacer, confiar ciegamente, no le culpo, esa es su naturaleza y mas allá que morir, pienso que su mayor tormento es ese último momento de traición, esa mirada triste y perdida por lo que esta sucediendo si que fue lo mejor de ver en la serie, el vacío de su alma.
Ahora vamos con lo negativo que son la relación de los personajes Seong Gi-hun y OH ll-nam que son el Protagonista de la historia que no morirá así caiga un meteorito y el anciano sin vergüenza que a la final termina siendo en un giro de la historia el villano de la historia. Esta relación empieza muy bien, hay empatía con ellos inmediata con un Protagonista cuya sonrisa se lleva el show en ese primer episodio y un anciano cuya fragilidad hace que el espectador quiera verlo protegido, cuando se orina, ese tipo de detalles fueron muy bien usados porque así es la vejez.
Es llegando al final de la serie que esta relación se va a pique, es un hablar sin sentido que me aburrió hasta mas no poder, quería terminara la serie pero seguían hablando decenas de minutos, fue una tortura su final sin lógica. El anciano es el artífice de todo pero no es lógica su sobrevivencia, hay una escena cuando apagan las luces y dejan que se maten entre ellos los concursantes, este anciano vive porque la pluma del autor quiere que así lo sea.
Es tan potente la situación que el mismo pide se detengan y El Líder la detiene, es en este momento donde la historia pierde su línea con estos dos personajes ya que sabemos con claridad el protagonista no morirá y el anciano tampoco gracias al poder divino del autor que los protegerá con su lápiz.
Start the Review with Spoilers which is where I come in with everything. I was fascinated by the motion detector doll, I think this is what made the series so viral, this game combined with the doll's voice, eye movement and the killing that happens were the perfect formula to push the series to all corners of the planet, I loved it and in fact I would like it to come back, we have to wait what will happen in the second season but this doll won my nostalgia.
The best thing about the series plot-wise is the development of the friendship between the characters Cho Sang-woo and Abdul Ali, the semi villain of the story who owes mortgages and the Pakistani immigrant since his growth starts from scratch, they do not know each other but as the series progresses, the bond of friendship between the two is powerful and natural, that gesture of Cho to lend him money despite owing shows that he is not a bad person and Abdul is an Angel whose employer exploited him taking advantage of his status as an immigrant.
The ethnic distribution seemed right to me, it is what the story asks for and it simply flows, Abdul being an immigrant creates sympathy due to his family suffering and how they cut off his finger in his native country, it generates sorrow in the viewer. This was very well handled in the series by bringing a good criticism against that country.
We get to know all these crumbs as Cho and Abdul make their friendship solid through the trials, strong rivals, one is the shield of the other until the climax of this friendship arrives, one of the two has to die and it will be at the hands of the other. At this point the betrayal is sublime and right, Cho did what he had to do, he was more cold and calculating but that does not mean that his conscience does not punish him.
Abdul however did what he shouldn't have done, trust blindly, I don't blame him, that's his nature and beyond dying, I think his greatest torment is that last moment of betrayal, that sad and lost look for what is happening if that was the best thing to see in the series, the emptiness of his soul.
Now let's go to the negative part, the relationship of the characters Seong Gi-hun and OH ll-nam who are the protagonist of the story who will not die even if a meteorite falls and the shameless old man who in the end ends up being the villain of the story in a twist of the story. This relationship starts very well, there is immediate empathy with them with a Protagonist whose smile takes the show in that first episode and an old man whose fragility makes the viewer want to see him protected, when he urinates, that kind of details were very well used because that's how old age is.
It is reaching the end of the series that this relationship goes down the drain, it is a meaningless talk that bored me to tears, I wanted to finish the series but they kept talking for dozens of minutes, it was a torture its end without logic. The old man is the architect of everything but his survival is not logical, there is a scene when they turn off the lights and let the contestants kill each other, this old man lives because the author's pen wants it to be so.
The situation is so powerful that he himself asks them to stop and The Leader stops it, it is at this moment where the story loses its line with these two characters since we know clearly that the protagonist will not die and neither will the old man thanks to the divine power of the author who will protect them with his pencil.
La relación entre los personajes Kang Sae-byeok y Ji-yeong que son el tempano de hielo y la que fue abusada por su padre me parece tan vacía, no tiene movimiento, la actitud fría de Kang no me genera nada de sentimientos por ella y menos Ji que casi no la conozco, de hecho me costo mucho entender cual era su sufrimiento, esta fue una de las peores relaciones de la serie y cuando murieron me alegre, duraron demasiado y a mi parecer están de sobra.
La relación entre Jang Deok-su con Han Mi-nyeo que son el Mafioso y la escandalosa tienes sus detalles, el mafioso esta genial, tiene toda la estructura y funciona como vilano PERO la escandalosa pienso que la actriz cumple, le pidieron eso y lo hizo muy bien pero el personaje es desesperante, no se soporta, es como pasar las uñas en un pizarrón y soportar ese ruido por una hora, pienso que se podía dosificar esto porque aturde, me hace no querer ver sus escenas y no es la idea.
El Líder y el resto de integrantes me parecen un acierto total con esas mascaras y trajes coloridos que se mezclan muy bien con el tono infantil de los juegos, El Líder funciona como villano y aunque tiene una trama patética con la representación de la Elite con mascaras de animales que no imponen nada ya que solo interesa El anciano, de resto esta muy bien, su voz, tiene la presencia para ser el arquitecto de las muertes en el juego.
Buena serie que llevo el hype a escalas que nunca había visto, ni siquiera GOT y eso es de aplaudir, tiene sus detalles a mi pensar, déjame en comentarios si te gusto a un nivel sublime o no ya que la serie entretenida definitivamente si lo es pero para ser una joya se necesita mucho más.

The relationship between Jang Deok-su with Han Mi-nyeo who are the Mafioso and the scandalous one has its details, the mafioso is great, has all the structure and works as a villain BUT the scandalous one I think the actress complies, they asked her to do that and she did it very well but the character is desperate, it is not bearable, it is like passing the nails on a blackboard and endure that noise for an hour, I think this could be dosed because it stuns, makes me not want to see their scenes and it is not the idea.
The Leader and the rest of the members seem to me a total success with those masks and colorful costumes that blend very well with the childish tone of the games, The Leader works as a villain and although he has a pathetic plot with the representation of the Elite with animal masks that do not impose anything since only the old man is of interest, otherwise he is very well, his voice, he has the presence to be the architect of the deaths in the game.
Good series that took the hype to scales that I had never seen, not even GOT and that is to applaud, has its details to my mind, let me in comments if you liked it to a sublime level or not because the series is definitely entertaining but to be a jewel it needs much more.
