there are certain negative attitudes that we often have and do not realize, but that in the end these attitudes keep us away from success.

This is true! Most people don't realize it until someone points it out, while others know what's wrong with them but still don't want to change. Instead, they are looking for an easier way rather than changing their negative attitude.
I know a man who's in debt because of gambling. He knows that his gambling addiction is the reason why he's in debt. It has been five years, but he continues to gamble, continuously burying himself in debt. When I asked him, he simply said that he tried but can't stop. Instead, he'll just work harder. The problem is that, no matter how hard he works, all of that hard-earned money will just be lost in gambling.
Many of us will try and give up after failing, while others, like you, will keep finding ways until they've achieved success!

What would have happened if I had tried?

This is the question I don't want to ask my future self, which is why, if I want to try something, I make sure to try it.
