A couple of days ago I tried to log into my steemit account, as I usually do, but it turned out that I had an incorrect password and everything indicated that someone had stolen it, fortunately I made the report and I was able to recover today. I am relieved because, for a moment, I thought that I would not recover it, but it was not easy to be patient and I hoped that Steemit's bracket would give me an answer. Every day that passed I felt frustrated. From see that he had no answer, but thanks to God and the steemit bracket, I was able to recover it.
Today I will explain the steps I took to recover my account, in case thy friend has a case similar to mine you can recover your account as I did,The first thing we must do at the moment of not being able to enter the account is not to be alarmed, to calm down and to verify if you have duly placed your password, if after being sure that you have placed your password correctly and I and keep going, incorrect password, then go to this part of the page:
Click on the icon of three stripes that appear in the upper right as you highlight in the green box, After you click, you will see several options, among the options there will be something that says recovery of stolen accounts.
You will click on that option, when you have clicked, this image will appear:
You will put the name of your account and what was your password, when you have done this you will click to start recovery.
Then he will ask you for the email, when you have given the mail and you click, the recovery process of your account will begin. Keep in mind that this takes between 4 to 30 days, in my case it only lasted 4 days but it was as if I had waited 1 month, my recommendation is not to despair, to have patience and wait for the bracket of steemit to answer.
