A few days ago I went to a new shop and discovered a Halal meat shop. I prefer Halal meat when it comes to eating meat as I don't eat pork. Here, only halal meat is available in some specific shops. Those shops are owned by Arab people but now a Ukrainian company called Nasha Ryaba is started producing Halal meat as well. The brand is known as Nasha Ryaba.
What is halal food?
Halal is Arabic for permissible. Halal food is that which adheres to Islamic law, as defined in the Koran. The Islamic form of slaughtering animals or poultry, dhabiha, involves killing through a cut to the jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe.
