Wow, what a treasure. I haven't been to this part of Rome and didn't have enough time, to be honest, to discover such a historical treasure. I must admit this is not a typical castle. Seeing the era and timeline of the castle, I must admit it is still in good shape. Buying tickets online is always handy; I have made the same mistake and had to wait long to enter Pantheon...
